About Ladybug Cakes
Starting with a love of cooking and a creative nature, I formed LadyBug Cakes and Catering in the summer of 2005. I have since focused more on the cake side of the business with a specialty in hand-modeled cake toppers. With made from scratch cakes, toffee and cookies, custom made bride and groom toppers and delicate sugar flowers, it has been a pleasure to create some memorable cakes.
I’ve had the opportunity to travel near and far to learn and work with the best and have enjoyed being part of a great cake family. As a cake designer and sugar artist, I am passionate about the fine details and take pride in personalizing each creation.

She was the first vendor who responded to my email queries about a vegan wedding cake and I took a few girlfriends along for a tasting last fall. If it were up to the four of us, my wedding cake would have been about 10 tiers tall -- everything Doree had us taste was yummy! I ended up selecting 2 tiers for the wedding cake, one vegan and one traditional to accommodate my taste and those of my groom.
